What Steward does
Two surfaces, one corpus.
- Members ask plain-language questions and get a concise answer with citations. Mobile-first. No login through the marketing site — access comes from your local.
- Reps and officers get a workspace for research, draft grievances, attach matter documents to a thread, and review what members are asking. Citations are followable; every retrieval is logged.
Why the citations matter
A union assistant that confidently invents a clause is worse than no assistant at all. Steward is built so that no citation means no answer — the model can refuse, but it cannot fabricate. Effective-date and supersession metadata are enforced on every retrieval, so a superseded MOU does not surface as if it were live.
